Jeans, flat boots/trainers and a T shirt. Maybe a trendy cardi too

guyfawkesHEIFERgy · 05/11/2006 15:09

Trendy cardi - is there such a thing... I am old you see, but not that old that I have a cardi... I am off the time that cardis were not cool, and haven't updated since then...

So what does a trendy cardy look like???

you cant have a trendy cardi - its an oxymoron.
please dont wear a cardi to concert.
jeans - comfy shoes, t-shirt with another bands name on - like ACDC or something.

southeastastra · 05/11/2006 18:33

anything comfortable and layers if it gets too hot. are you standing or sitting? hehe

guyfawkesHEIFERgy · 05/11/2006 18:44

custardo - the only teeshirt I have with a bands name in is Eminem!!! and it is too small....

bought for me when I missed his concert here cause I was 6 months pg with DD... (that was supposed to be my first concert.. and then he cancelled the next one.. b*stard....

So no cardi then... did have me worried to be honest, but actually like some of the posted, was thinking of buying one, though not sure about concert..

Would a zipped hoodie look pikey???

OP posts:
Tortington · 05/11/2006 18:52

dont use the term Pikey is derogatory slang. go to a record shop and buy a t shirt.

guyfawkesHEIFERgy · 05/11/2006 19:02

sorry to offend, it is a phrase I use quite a lot I guess... didn't think it was that offensive as not aimed any any one group in particular... ie just meant it to mean 'common'...

Anyway, thanks for the advise...

ACDC

My boyfriend likes them Custy

Tortington · 05/11/2006 19:11

acdc very en vogue with the toung uns these days i'll have you know. along with the revival of all the rock classics. including iron maiden- who i personally detest. acdc are ok though

heifer - don't worry - we alll learn something new everyday - i didn't know the term Gypsy in itself was offensive until last month and i work in PC utopia.

Tortington · 05/11/2006 19:12

toung uns?

very fraudian

paddingtonbear1 · 06/11/2006 08:11

also river island have some good 'rock' style tshirts in at the mo. I got a fab green one the other day! A 'proper' one is best but if you can't find one you could always try those. Would second no cardis for a Pink concert You could always wear, say a black shirt over your tshirt to begin with?
Tis so long since I went to a concert I've forgotten what I wore!!

guyfawkesHEIFERgy · 06/11/2006 09:39

cheers Guy, I am off into town later to find a suitable teeshirt/top..
