Surya Brazil henna cream for dark brown hair

I used the Surya Brazil Henna cream in dark brown on my mid to dark brown hair yesterday. It covered my few grey hairs and looks good, but it is just that, just dark brown.

Does anyone know which colour will give a rich coppery chestnutty colour? I know there is a red cream, but I'm worried that would be too orangey or bright red.

Mahogany gives me the colour you're after.

Thanks. Does it not have that purply / burgundy tone to it that normal hair dye in mahogany does?

No, not at all. It's more orange based, but gives me a lovely warm red colour, with brighter highlights over my grey.

Ooh that's exactly what I'm after, where do you get it from please?

AgathaF · 19/04/2015 09:55

From Amazon. Seems to be the cheapest place to get it.

Yes I buy it from Amazon too. It's not cheap, about £12, but so much easier to use than the powder.
