Has anyone got the Boden chino shorts? Are your legs amazing? Do legs need to be fab for shorts?

these?

They get really good reviews and I love them but not totally convinced!

Do you think you'd need amazing legs for them?

I'm size 10 5 foot 6 but my legs are just ok!

I have veiny legs so avoid shorts except on holidays. If you are size 10 and 5"6 then go for it. If your legs are white, fake it. Life is too short. Sorry I have no personal experience of these shorts tho. x

I don't have those but they seem pretty pricey. I do wear shorts and am also 5'6" and a 10, but only when it's properly hot (so about 3 days in the UK and when on holiday). I'd highly recommend the J Crew chino shorts, they're often on sale. You can choose the length and they come in all sorts of colours. They're fantastic quality and will last you years.

I tried these but they were huge on the waist so probably won't fit you if you are pear shaped/ have a slim waist.

Absolutely you can and should wear shorts!

I have them and love them. Got them last year after years of believing I couldn't wear shorts!
I am a 12 with fairly good legs - well shaped rather than than slim if that makes sense - but ghastly knees. For me what worked was to buy shorts shorter ie 4 in length not the longer ones and wider ie size 14. This draws attention away from my knees and the larger size with a belt makes me look smaller without swamping me or looking too scruffy.
Go for it but try all the possible sizes to work out what is most flattering on you. IME they are a good regular cut so experiment away

I'm 5:3 and a size 12 and I would wear them. I have something similar from gap. My legs are in good shape.

Go for it! I have the Bistro shorts and will be buying more for summer. There is a 20% off code on the promotional codes thread.

I have them. My legs are OK (size 10-12), but slightly wrinkled of knee (am 48). I agree with the poster who said you are better off with the shorter ones. I wear them with loose tops (shirts or cotton smock-type tops).

I actually had two people come up to me and ask where I got them from last year, so they must look fairly reasonable (actually, one lady said "are those the Boden Chino Shorts?").
