Can I just tell you all how bloody much I love my havaianas freedom sandals?
They've served me tramping around hot cities for miles, on the beach, out for dinner and long walks and not once have they rubbed.
I've got them in chocolate, rose gold, light gold and am about to order the graphite. That's how good they are.
Just had to share. As you were :0)

They look lovely but toe posts always seem to rub my feet :(

Crossfitmyarse · 14/04/2015 12:01

Havaianas don't rub - that's the beauty of them! They are SOOO soft and comfortable between the toes. It's the reason they are expensive, and worth every penny. They last forever as well, unlike cheap flipflops.

Crossfitmyarse · 14/04/2015 12:07

My friend knows I am devoted to my havvies and when she went to Thailand she came back with a couple of fake pairs for me that cost about £3 each. She was delighted about this but to be honest they are a waste of time because they are made of that hard uncomfortable rubber that hurts between my toes, just like old school flip flops. It's not the lovely colour combinations or the cute little havaiana logo that I buy the real things for, it's the comfort and the durability! How sad do you have to be to want to try to impress people with fake flip flops anyway? Confused

Havianas toe posts rub me like hell too, like cheap flipflops! Can never work it out. Must have funny feet. I prefer Animal - some varieties have a lovely spongy toe post.

Carly

I have been wearing these types of Havaianas for the last 5+ years they are brilliant
Finally someone agrees with me!

Crossfitmyarse · 14/04/2015 13:26

I am a 5.5 and I buy the 5.

Carlywurly · 14/04/2015 15:24

I've got size 7 feet so get the 41-42. The strap at the back means you can adjust them a fair way if you get the freedom style.

Totally agree on fakes - it's the quality you pay for and why I don't get the dc's fake crocs either - they rub like hell too and the agony of a rubber shoe blister is something I'm happy to pay to avoid.

Ronald - they're the ones! And they're really cheap on that app. Need to go to the U.S. and stock up Grin

Havs rubbed my feet pretty badly.

BillStickersIsInnocent · 14/04/2015 19:56

I had those ones too - in the gold. Brilliantly comfy. The strap snapped at the end of the summer. Must get some more!

I live in Gandys. So comfortable, great selection of colours and amazing cause.

SconessMcFloness · 14/04/2015 21:55

Havs rubbed dds feet something rotten, so wouldn't touch them. Saltwater are the only sandals that don't rub my feet.

SwedeDreams · 14/04/2015 21:55

I live in crocs adriana flip flops. Now have them in six colours.

I survived Disney in these.

Carlywurly · 15/04/2015 04:40

I still mourn the loss of some gap ones I literally wore out which were made of rubber so soft it felt like my toes were being massaged by angels. Or summat. They were about £2 in the sale one year. If I could go back in time I'd buy the shelf full.

My havs took an hour or so to acclimatise to. Then bliss Smile

My dd's wear havaianas all summer, just ordered them 2 pairs each. I must have 7 or 8 pairs collected over the years (but we live in the USA and they're cheaper here!)
