I need face highlighter help please!

I reckon I could do with a face highlighter/illuminator. I'm 47 and don't wear any foundation, just do I make up really. I was thinking my face could do with a little bit of lifting and brightening though.
Do you have a favourite highlighter? Please can you give me some ideas. I have googled, but feel a tad overwhelmed.

On the recommendation of a poster on here, I ordered Technics Highlights from Amazon. It's an exact dupe for Benefit High Beam (which I usually use), and it's just as good. It only cost me £4 delivered too.

Tearoom I had been looking at those to. But wasn't sure if they'd be any good. Might have to get some now!

I went round town today. I rather liked one in lush, a tint to make your face younger, basically a highlighter. I'm tempted .....
