I've got the bag out of the loft, but haven't worn anything from the selection yet. Tried a few bits on. Was excited to think the things which didnt quite fit at the end of last summer would be perfect now - nope, still a fraction too tight! Grin #fatty

There are some summer things which didnt get put away and are still in my wardrobe (pretty vest tops) which I have just been wearing with a cardigan over, for the cooler months.

I've dug out my favourite boyfriend jeans and ballet pumps. Only wear these jeans in better weather because of the length.

Itscurtainsforyou · 10/04/2015 23:19

Yeah - summer shoes out, linen trousers, tshirts and I bought some shorts yesterday Smile

Financeprincess · 10/04/2015 23:22

I fetched the strappy sandals and cropped trousers out today. I felt quite giddy.

I tend to forget how to dress for warmer weather, so it's a bit hit and miss for the first few days. Apparently it's going to be ten degrees colder tomorrow so I can return to the woolly jumpers temporarily.

I've bought some summer tops (not worn them yet) and DH got the Summer bag out of the loft because I need the DC summer school uniforms .

(It'll freeze next week now Hmm )

No but I wore a brightly coloured top today which just didn't feel right for the winter.

BikeRunSki · 11/04/2015 00:15

Yep, 3/4 length jeans today.

Thisishowyoudisappear · 11/04/2015 05:19

Not quite, but I bought new moth killer sachets to put in with the winter stuff when I swap exciting times

I store some things away to save space.
Have just last night done a bit of a switcheroo!

Have placed several high neck, thick jumpers and heavier weight skirts into plastic tubs for the summer. It was nice to say goodbye for now...

Have tentatively placed some tee's onto hangers, and brought a few midi's out (I'm a skirt person, not so much into jeans, etc)..

What I am waiting for is the day I can quit wearing socks again. Oh for the freedom of swishy skirts and no thick tights!

dexter73 · 11/04/2015 11:38

Boots and some jumpers/coats have gone away and I did look at the bag of summer tops but couldn't be bothered to get them out and iron them! Maybe next week...

BallroomWithNoBalls · 11/04/2015 11:46

Lol financeprincess - I think everyone struggles for the first few days of warm weather! I find it quite entertaining seeing the mix of coats and boots clad people boiling, and shorts and flipflops wearers freezing Grin

I'm venturing out in a bubblegum pink marl tee, grey skinnies and grey UGGs today. Can't go wrong with that surely. UGGs are compulsory IKEA wear, the right Essexy / comfy footwear for the occasion.

I have too, but now it is raining . It is supposed to pass over after lunchtime.

I have got some transitional stuff out already: thinner knits (which I haven't yet worn), light jackets, t-shirts, boyfriend jeans, gypsy tops and shirts. I've just put back vest tops and linen trousers, as I don't think it's that warm yet. I can't be doing sandals until it's really hot.

I haven't put any winter stuff away yet, so it's that annoying time when there's loads of coats in the cupboard of all types. I might need to put the really cold weather stuff away to make room. Especially very thick woolly hats and scarves...

I like swapping stuff around, it always makes me feel as if I've got a set of new clothes. Especially stuff I've bought in the sales at the end of summer and hardly worn. It's also easier to find what I want.

mowglik · 11/04/2015 12:12

I have ironed my summer wear ready to be pulled out and worn at the earliest possible moment! I'm a sandals gal and used to wear them for 9 months out of 12 when I was younger :/ ironed and hung my thinner maxi dresses, harems, thin cardis and got my sandals out

Today I'm wearing grey thin harems, khaki vest, thin kimono cardi and ballet flats - fingers crossed the sun holds out
