Need a fierce suit so I can rock my board meetings!

Hello ladies, I am looking for a suit for work - work in museum design and wanting to make a good impression with the funders at a few meetings coming up - do you have any reccs? I've had a quick look online but nothing jumped out. I don't mind whether its a trouser suit or skirt and jacket combo...quite fancy something with a vintage vibe....am 42, a curvy size 12. Any suggestions would be fabulous :) thanks in advance xx

If I worked somewhere less corporate, Vivienne Westwood Anglomania would be my suiting of choice.

As it is, I buy a Banana Republic suit each year.

Deffo Westwood, if you can afford it. I've got a couple of VW skirts and absolutely love them.

I bought a Mary portals suit recently in house of Fraser. Lovely and slightly different, good quality and a great fit.
I'll see if I can find an example.

I tried the jacket on recently and loved it but couldn't justify the price considering that I don't need it at all.
