The edges of my lips are going funny - anyone else have this?

I'm early 40's... I think I'm quite lucky ageing-wise, not really any noticeable wrinkles yet, but I've noticed recently my bottom lip doesn't have a proper defined line around the edges anymore, almost as if where it used to be a clear pink edge, there are now little patches turning skin coloured :/

I've tried disguising it with lipstick but it still looks wierd - it also seems that my lips are flattening out in places, so when I try to draw on a lip line it looks completely false.

Is thus just another crappy effect of ageing I've not heard of before? And what can I do to disguise it?

Hi op, I know what u mean.....I had a zillion cold sores when younger and although I've been blessed with quite pouty gob, the edges aren't well defined.....I'm going for semi permanent lip liner soon, hoping to get it in exactly the same shade as lips, supposed to cost 200 lasts a couple of years....

The question is...am I van enough ? (Yes.)

Am 23 I have this don't know what caused it.
