Have you 'had your colours done'?

I want to buy this service for a friend's 40th. Our group of mums is going to split the cost. But the only quote I've seen so far is for 70 quid. Still a bit steep for us.

Anyone had any experience of these services and can recommend?

yes - was much cheaper than that though!
it was something called 'Colour and You' that was basically in someone's spare room, but was very good advice and got the 'palette' book to take away same as the more expensive places.
