They don't have the size I want - love the trousers - must lose my belly

Apologies for the long title. Bought some great black jeans from Hennes - great cut - L.O.G.O. Their cut is not very generous so my big 'BELLY' stops me from doing up the zip. Legs and length are fine...so cross with myself.
I must lose my belly - any ideas - I have stopped eating biscuits and cakes. Just a belly excercise! Have used dd's hoop and skip when no one is around - squirrels have a great laugh.

sit ups

swimming

those slendertone thingys are ok if you dont have much weight to lose, you just need toning

bookends · 31/10/2006 09:49

thanks nailpolish...what are those slendertone thingys?

I walk quickly back after dropping off dd2 and skip frantically until I'm out of breath - about 20 fast skips. Then I lie on the floor and do sit-ups. I do find it boring and forget to do them day in day out. Cutting out the biccies has helped a bit.

egads woman... no bread, pasta, biccies, chocs what is there to live for?

I try to eat an early tea with the dds - sometimes works.

no, but a friend of mine has tried the slendertone

she had 2 children, lost weight but still had a wobbly belly, she used the slendertone (well it wasnt the slendertone, was a cheaper version) and she said it helped

she used to wear it to work, doing the shopping etc!

bookends · 31/10/2006 10:49

lol...going shopping with it on. My belly is big enough on its own. What is the name of the cheaper version?

actually, i think she bought it from Avon so it was probably a one-off thing

have you tried boots, argos?

Lrkids · 31/10/2006 11:02

Bookends, just read through this as I have a belly to lose as well, I have a cheap version of the slendertone which I'm looking to sell (I have fat to lose at the moment not just toning lol)I didn't use it much, but it did work when I just needed to tone up. If you are interested, I can do pics

Met mums at pickup time and told them off my 'belly saga' - one of them had a slendertone and I am borrowing it. Thanks Lrkids for the offer.

I'll keep you uptodate with any 'belly news'.
