I've managed to wear through the lining of my lovely red DMs. :(
It's worn through at the heel.

Is there any way I can fix it? Confused

Stick an insole in maybe?

Oh sorry I thought you meant on the sole - having reread I don't think that's what you meant sorry, hope you find a solution!

Suddengeekgirl · 24/03/2015 19:52

No it's not the sole, it's the bit where your heel rubs the back of the shoe.

heel grips? or buy some scraps of leather off ebay and glue it in, i did that with a pair of boots, worked quite well!

I'd try to find an old-fashioned, independent cobbler (often easier if you live rurally than in a big city though) and ask them to help. There's a fabulous one in the town where i grew up so I periodically send leather handbags, shoes etc back with my mum and he works magic on them. The guy I use is on the south east coast, just in case you're near there.

I'd probably stick a bit of gaffer tape over the hole.
