French & Parisian Style - Ooh La Lovely

The French are just so damn stylish, and I really want to get on board. They are all thin, I am not, but I love looking at websites like L'Exception and Agnes B.

Does anyone by from these sites? I'm wondering what sizing they use. Also, are there any French style UK websites I should know about (ideally a bit cheaper than the two above...)?

www.promod.co.uk and www.monshowroom.com are two other cheapish French brands.

Oh and www.somewhereparis.com

Looked up images of Capucine Safyurtlu and she just looks the same style as most of the bloggers around. Nice but samey.

I personally don't rate her style either. Very tedious.

It's most likely to be the other way around - bloggers copying fashion editors.

Anyone can wear rolled skinnies, heels, a tailored jacket and a chunky watch. They will not all look fabulous. A french woman with style (they don't all have it either btw) will be able to wear a bin bag and look chic. It's all about the attitude.

This look that Capucine wears has been around since the 70s. She has copied the look herself as is the way with fashion going round and round.

I have to say I'm not being blown over by any of these looks. I really don't see anything particularly distinctive about then ...
