The nearest thing I've found to a travel-size Babyliss Big Hair .......

I’ve often posted about my love of Babyliss Big Hair, but wished they’d invent a travel size version, or at least one where you could detach the brush from the handle, making it smaller.

However whilst Babyliss don’t appear to have done this yet, I’ve just discovered that Remington do their own version of BBH - it’s got two different brushes (ie it comes apart) so it would probably be far easier to pack than the larger BBH.

Just thought I’d share this with you as the holiday season is on its way!!!

OMG!!!! They've finally invented it!! Ok, so it's not actually an official travel product, but it comes apart, making it small enough to be portable. I've died and gone to heaven! A bit pricey though.

Will this solve my current hair dilemma? I've recently had a fringe cut in after years of resisting because my hair is wavy with a tendency to frizz. Not ideal hair for a fringe! I'm struggling to blow dry it and it's starting to dry out as I've never blow dried my hair before so I'm using straighteners as well which I think is all too much for my poor virgin hair!

Will this give me a nice salon look fringe?

A Babyliss Big Hair may well be the answer to your prayers! I had layers cut into my hair last year, and to my horror found that they wanted to curl ....... the only thing that smooths out the curl/kinks/frizz whilst maintaining volume and shine, is the BBH.

Ok, Petal, I may just take the plunge! Is that Amazon link a product in itself or is it an attachment to something you've already got?

Petal02 · 21/03/2015 14:08

Yes, the amazon link is the product itself, but unless you specifically need a two-brush appliance (I'm only buying this because the brush comes away from the handle, making it smaller for travel etc) you'd probably be quite happy with the standard, one-brush, version, which is a bit cheaper:

Dual Big Hair! - they've kept quiet about that! Only available it seems from babyliss website (£60 free postage) or a bit cheaper on qvc (£48 + £5 postage)
