Recommendations for expert hair colourist in Bucks, Berkhamsted or Oxford please?

My lovely and talented hairdresser has had to close her business for personal reasons. I am therefore looking for an expert hair colourist who can do fine, natural highlights for my blonde/ash blonde/grey hair. I am in my fifties and need someone who will help blend the grey and give me a polished look.
Any recommendations would be gratefully received! I live in Bucks but often work in Oxford or Berkhamsted. I am keen to avoid travelling up to London if possible.

Not sure where you are in Bucks, but the colourists in Brothers are particularly good. I have been to the one in Oxford a couple of times, but I now go to the incredible Hayley in Thame. I have never had such good colour despite going to a particularly celebrated london colourist up until a couple of years ago.

Oh thank you, Lambzig, I will look into that. Thame is in easy reach for me. Do you use Hayley for highlights?

Yes I have an all over tint with some subtle highlights too. She has spent absolutely ages getting the colour and level of highlights right for me. I was unhappy with the colour once when it grabbed too much and she fixed it for me straight away. She is lovely too.

I have been going to her for about 18 months now.

Excellent, I hope she is good for you. She is immensely tolerant of me bringing in photos of myself, from magazines etc to help get the colour right.
