Gap kids sizing - would XL fit an adult?

Does anyone have experience of gap kids sizing? My DC are still in the baby section but I've noticed a couple of lovely 100% cotton tops in gap kids which would be lovely for the summer and are much ££ than anything in the adult section. I'm size 8 but fairly tall, am I likely to fit into any gap kids styles in the largest size?
Thanks

I would have thought so. They do give measurements on the website but I think their stuff always comes up big. I wear a 4 or 6 in reiss /whistles but have jeans from gap kids that are age 12

Yep, they fit me!

Perfect thanks, perhaps I'll order a couple of sizes. Would love to fit into the jeans, although I suspect length might be an issue!

I always find gap sizing to be tiny, my DC always grow out of them really quick! Ive stopped buying there tbh.

The arms are shorter than the arms on the adult tops. I've worn a few of my kids sweatshirts and they fit everywhere except in the sleeve length.

I am 156cm, I used to wear a lot of gap kids stuff at uni when weighed less than 50kg (so size 6 to 8) don't think my boobs would it in now!

A jumper didn't fit me. It was too short in arms and body (I am 5ft7 size8/10)
