yes, sorry

paddingtonbear1 · 08/03/2015 13:43

No, I don't think so - a friend of a friend has one and looks fine. She is around your age.

HelpMeGetOutOfHere · 08/03/2015 13:48

Id say yes they are for teenagers. Although I'm talking as a mum to a 17 and 13yr old.

Many at the school gates would disagree with me though. I think they are so unoriginal though. Why wear the same coat that thousands of others are wearing when there are so many nice jackets out there?

orangeisthenewlemon · 08/03/2015 14:13

No not at all. I have many Superdry coats/jackets, The wind cheater being one. Im 41. . .My friends (my age) regularly where I got it from. They love it.

IHaveBrilloHair · 08/03/2015 14:16

I'm 37 and I have one, it's a practical, warm coat.

yazzy85 · 08/03/2015 14:24

Thanks ladies thats why I bought it, practicality it doesn't look like hiking gear...mostly going to be wearing it for day to day stuff like shopping, nursery run etc.

IHaveBrilloHair · 08/03/2015 15:07

I wear it for popping out to the shops or whatever, just casual stuff.

nightswift · 08/03/2015 15:20

Each to their own we call it FackeyDry in our house-it is well known the Japanese characters only the clothes are mostly jibberish!

Silverjohnleggedit · 08/03/2015 17:23

Yep it's teenage wear along with Hollister, Jack Wills etc

IHaveBrilloHair · 08/03/2015 18:27

Superdry dresses really suit me, I have lots of them, tbf I live in a small Scottish town so probably not the height of fashion, but then I just wear what I like.

burnishedsilver · 08/03/2015 18:49

Yes. Sorry.

yazzy85 · 08/03/2015 21:16

Any alernatives to their windcheater jacket???

??

Lj8893 · 09/03/2015 08:55

No I don't think so, they are decent practical coats (apart from the zips that seem to break frequently!)
I also don't think hollister and jack wills are teenage style clothes either......Paul frank on the other hand

SugarplumKate · 09/03/2015 09:05

No, but I think they are overpriced I.e paying for the label, not the quality. My 12 year old has one, do I personally wouldn't but yanbu.

Paddingtonthebear · 09/03/2015 14:33

I bought one new 5 years ago and sold it last year on eBay for more than I paid for it! They are overly popular where I live now, you will see many people wearing on the high street, particularly school children and mid thirties aged parents!

GotToBeInItToWinIt · 09/03/2015 14:40

I'm 30 and I have one! I love it. Practical yet doesn't look like a frumpy hiking coat.

Floisme · 09/03/2015 15:12

I can't imagine there are many teenagers who can afford those prices.

IHaveBrilloHair · 09/03/2015 15:48

Parents buy them

Floisme · 09/03/2015 15:49

Well more fool them Grin

LokiPokey · 09/03/2015 15:52

Most people I see wearing them are in their twenties.

IHaveBrilloHair · 09/03/2015 15:54

I'm the same size as my teen, buying her Superdry means more for me to borrowWink

Floisme · 09/03/2015 16:00

Well that's perfectly sensible - I'm a parent of a teen myself so I hope I didn't sound snarky!

IHaveBrilloHair · 09/03/2015 16:25

Not at all, if she was still growing lots and a different size I'd think twice.

mewkins · 09/03/2015 18:12

My friend has a waterproof jacket by Superdry that leaks like a sieve. The irony is not lost on us.
