Lancôme hydrazen night cream worth the £42 price tag?

I need a new night cream and I usually don't really pay more than about £35.

Quite liking the sound of this Lancôme one but am a bitShock at the £40+ price tag. But mainly because I don't know if it's any good. Looking for something to moisturise but not be too thick and 'goopy' in texture or block my pores.

No face cream is worth £42. Or even £35 or whatever it was.

Not worth it. At all.

Buy a tub of blue nivea or astral and it will do just as good a job (and recent tests have agreed). Nivea q10 range came out best recently in blind tests for anti ageing creams including some which were £90+.

I like Estee lauder time zone. Not tried Lancôme sorry!

Blue Nivea is horrible on my face! Goes into a grease ball! Astral smells disgusting and burns.

Not tried the q10 range though.

If you want something non pore blocking then clinique oil free dramatically different gel is very good (at the expensive end) or anything that says it's oil free to be honest from boots or superdrug. I used to use a lot of Lancome products when I worked for clinique and then chanel as I had a best friend who worked for Lancome and she used to give me things to try but I always found the creams used to bring me out in spots.

Oh I think I might've had a sample of some Nivea q10 quite a while back but I think I maybe kept the sachet as I had liked it. off to rummage! At least if I don't like that i've not paid a fortune!

although I hate the sensibleness and advertising of No7, at least you can trust it to have had some research done on it

that or the French stuff, ask Bonsoir - her H does R and d for it afaik

I have used Hydra Zen tinted moisturiser in the past, and really liked it. I dont know about Lancôme night creams but I do like a product that smells relaxing at bedtime.
