What would you wear with a long tube skirt?

I just bought a just below mid calf blue and grey striped tube skirt, and I want to wear it now with tights and boots but I don't know what to wear on top.

I had a longer, less fitted one in the summer that I wore with fitted vests, but I can't think of the winter equivalent.

It's jersey, and the stripes are horizontal, I think it's quite flattering. I have looked on Pinterest but I don't know how to filter out all the summer vest ones

Grateful for any ideas!

Long sleeve T + biker jacket
Slouchy jumper + scarf
Fitted jumper + furry gilet

Cream/red/navy/grey/white/bright pink all good colours.

You are so right a furry gilet would look awesome!

Sadly I'm not sure I could carry it off as I am a bit top heavy (I long for broad shoulders so I could do the angular look!). I will console myself withthe knowledge that I would be too hot!

I will try a slouchy jumper and scarf as I guess I would need to take a jacket off - do you think I could layer pink under navy?

(if anyone is at all interested I am 5'4, size 10 bottom, 12 top with a big rib cage (34D) and not much of a waist!)

I have a black one, which I wear with the following:

Long sleeved tee under a band/logo t-shirt & triangular scarf, converse style trainers
Denim shirt and biker jacket with wedge boots
Plain white vest, silk blouse, biker jacket.

I can't find a link- I got it in the end of the fenwick sale and the brand was onelife, or one piece- will look when I get home!

I only just found out what a triangle scarf is (thanks to another thread!) and I got one in new look! Can't think of the colour will see if it will go.

I clearly need a biker jacket! But I want to wear it on Saturday in my friends house so I would take it off anyway.

The label says onelife but I can't find a picture online, and their online stuff looks a lot floatier iyswim. I do really like it!

Slouchy navy or bright pink jumper. Not sure what i would wear on my feet though.

I had black biker boots on when I tried it on which looked surprisingly good! But am going to try it with very dark blue ankle boots as well. Thank you!
