Need a *SPECTACULAR* wedding outfit!

I have 2 weddings to go to - one in Dec and another in Feb which is my sisters wedding.

I had baby No 2 last Dec and since then I've lost (or will have by the time the 1st wedding arrives) about 3 stone.

I'm feeling pretty good and really want to treat myself - I was something spectacular that fits me like a glove and makes me look like a million dollars - I'm not asking too much am I.

I'm 25 and in a size 10/12 so I'd like something elegant but also fashionable - but not too fashionable. Would like to show a bit of skin but not too much (esp as it's winter!!!!)

Anyone know of such a dress????? PLEASE

Lovely dresses - am liking Vera Wong very much My computer keeps putting the decimal points in the wrong place though

ohh, thanks for the ideas. I do like the Anna Sui dress - it's def unusyal - i'm not sure it's quite right for me but I'll have a look throught that website as they might have another hidden gem that would be perfect!

The phase eight dresses are nice - I'd really like something a bit different thought. I was thinking of maybe a plunging neckline or a backless dress.

thought they might be a bit staid!
Net-a-porter very good for things that are a bit different - have fun looking!

sweetheart · 25/10/2006 12:32

oh and I already ordered that dress from Next - it looked ok but not WOW!

this has an element of love it - but also hate it!

It's different which I love and I like the back - but I hate the pattern and the high neck line - not too sure about the long sleeves but I suppose if the colour was right it would be OK!

oh, and then of course there is the price tag! I know I said anything but £5.5k!!!!

I quite like this

But it's still quite plain. I like that the back of the dress dips down and the straps are a bit different

the last one is pretty but looks a bit Coast to me IYSWIM

TheDivineLiliLaTigresse · 25/10/2006 12:46

I meant the Anna Sui one
Now the Bottega Veneta one will get you noticed but I think it looks a bit silly

sweetheart · 25/10/2006 12:49

ohhhh Not sure about the print but quite like the style!

have a look at the 'my wardrobe site' too, some interesting dresses

TheDivineLiliLaTigresse · 25/10/2006 12:50

I like Pucci, that's a gorgeous dress! But you have to feel bold enough

sweetheart · 25/10/2006 12:53

divine - absolutly perfect!

But it's black!!!!!!

OP posts:
sweetheart · 25/10/2006 12:55

Oh now I want the black dress!!!!! I must keep telling myself that it would look horrible on me because of my big bottom!!!!

OP posts:
TheDivineLiliLaTigresse · 25/10/2006 12:56

beautiful, but you can do better than black, you said spectacular didn't you?

sweetheart · 25/10/2006 12:59
