My dh has won tickets to go to a film premiere in leicester square tomorrow night, what do i wear??? any suggestions

Is it the red carpet affair, or a nationwide screening one like they did with Pirates of the Caribbean? Also - does the ticket include the pre/after show party type thing? (and what film???)

If he's woon tickets then it's likely to be smart.

I'd be tempted to play safe in a nice suit: smart, presentable, stylish but not so OT you look like a fish out of water if everyone else jeans- you'll just look like an eminently stylish eprson.

Unless it's a 'proper' premiere, complete with movie types, in which case it's the works dear. Or if not sure, bung a corset top under the suit and remove jacket if required

like Peachy's suggestion of glam top under suit - silky vest thing may be easier to get hold of than corset.

OK we went to the premiere of BORAT, which was totally hilarious and will offend just about everyone!!! Opted for a pair of black trousers, black lace bustier and a pair of gold shoes. Saw a few celebs, stayed in a very nice hotel (the bonnington in holborn, which was part of the competition prize.
