Ebay jeans, are they maternity or not?

I recently bought some jeans off ebay described as maternity under bump jeans. I've tried them on and they come virtually up to my belly button, higher than my normal jeans i've been wearing. They have no elastic stretch panels or anything although if they are under bump i suppose they wouldnt necessarily have these would they? They are from next and the few other maternity clothes i have from next say maternity and nine months on the label. These dont.
I have emailed the seller and she has replied back saying that they are under bump jeans and as i get bigger they will sit under my bump but i really cant see how. Im 14 wks now with a slight bump and a bit of a belly anyway! i have been pg before but never had under bump jeans before so just want to check that im not being stupid before i get a bit forceful with her! She has said i can return them if im not happy but i think she's not offering refund of p&p costs which is about 6quid and i dont see why i should have to pay that if she's completely misrepresented the jeans. But i do want to make absolutely sure before i get arsey!!

I can't imagine why they wouldn';t say maternity on the label.
I had some under bump ones and they definitely didn't come up that high, you can tell from looking at them that they're supposed to sit underneath just by the way they're cut.

so i'd say no,they don't sound like mat jeans at all

Is a link to original picture possible?

pesha · 23/10/2006 22:37

Erm i might be able to do a link but you cant really see anyway they're black jeans so the top of them isn't at all clear. If it'll help at all i can measure from crotch seam to waist if anyone else has a pair of size 14 underbump jeans to compare them to?!

with mine the waist wasn't even the whole way round. you could see where it dipped at the front, if that makes sense? they were shaped to fit under the bump
