I've just returned from a stay in a decent hotel that I - stupidly - thought would provide decent quality hairdryers. I recklessly left mine at home.
Guess what - they provided one that looked promising but only seemed capable of blowing cold air.
At the age of 47, I have now resigned myself to the fact that for reasons I cannon fathom, hotels will be unlikely to provide this fairly basic item within my lifetime. I am prepared to spend some money on such an item but only if it is powerful and lightweight
