Ok I admit it I don't follow nor understand fashion however, what is it with belts?

I've been for ages trying to find a nice belt... to hold my trousers up ... not as an accessory loosly slung over my hips.

Can somebody enlighten me about the purpose of fashion bar totally frustrate me?

know the feeling - I have a pair of trousers that only stay up by themsleves the first day after washing. Have resorted to cobbling one together myself out of a yard of webbing and one of those clips that are meant for dungaree straps.

What kind of belt are you looking for? If casualish for jeans etc, Fatface have a few - not cheap though. Gap sometimes have some too.

I was talking about this with a friend the other day... she wants a clear belt to hold up her jeans so she can wear a fashion one over the top!!

I managed to find one today at M&S!!! it's plain brown with a silver buckle. Basically I resorted to buying a small size so it's a size 8 hip belt and perfect for my size 12/14

It's just soooo irritating
