That's really nice. I think pretty much any colour would go with it - but silver would look nice. Pink wouldn't look too bad though.

Can't really see the colour but it's a very pretty dress. Is it black with a sort of plum coloured trim?

Silver would be good - but what I would do is look and see what there is in the shops, and when you see something you like see if they will go. Otherwise you decide what you want then spend hours looking for it!

Silver would be lovely! There are lots around at the moment but they all seem quite stiff material and DD says they're not comfy! Saw some in Monsoon and even they were rock hard. Let me know if you come across some soft ones.

She has replied to your DD's email BTW - I had deleted it by mistake which is the reason for the delay.

Lovely dress, perfect for the ballet. How exciting!

Sorry - now I see! Navy, is it, with pink? Personally I would go for navy velvet pumps but tbh I don't think it really matters as long as you and she are happy.

Tutter · 22/10/2006 19:29

can't really see the colour too well (dark green? navy?) but would be nice to match trim imo. raspberry-ish colour, looks like.

KBear · 22/10/2006 19:32

I assume you've seen the sparkly pumps in the Next Directory Christmas book? They have pink and silver.

MamaGhoul · 22/10/2006 19:36

yes it is navy with a dark pink trim. The reason I said silver or pink was becuase they are £5 in woolies

silver

pink

She could wear them with jeans afterwards, I think.

KBear- thanks, she's just about to read it

The jewelled ones are lovely.

Blondilocks · 22/10/2006 19:43

I think the pink ones look nicer.

Gillian76 · 22/10/2006 19:47

Pink

MamaGhoul · 22/10/2006 20:57
