Eyeliner that will actually stay on my eyelids

Can anyone recommend an eyeliner that will stay put? I prefer a pencil liner for everyday use (currently use a bourjois one or Estee Lauder doublewear). It looks ok for the first hour or two, but then disappears, and my eye shadow always creases as well. I guess I have oily eyelids... Liquid liner is ok but I don't want to wear that all the time, I prefer something a bit more smudgy.

Do I need a primer? Or a different eyeliner?

Any recommendations gratefully received!

Urban decay primer on the eyelid is just fantastic. I have 2 that I switch between. The basic one which primes and takes away any discolouration and also one called "sin" that has a very slight shimmer to it, but makes me look really awake when I'm not!
You don't have to buy a full sized expensive one either. They usually do travel versions for about £7 or so that will last you forever as you need such a tiny amount.

Good to hear jasmine1979! I bought a travel size tube from feelunique.com for £8 (can't understand why the same size sells for £12 or £13 on ebay though?!)
