Anyone know of good dyes to dye your hair grey?

I've been going grey and can't stand the upkeep of colouring anymore, so thought I'd dye the whole lot grey/silver. I have really light blond hair, and have tried the crazy colour ones but they don't last very long. Any ideas?

Well grey hair only looks grey as there is a mix of white and dark hairs. Hair goes white, not grey. Getting very light blonde hair white would mean bleaching it, and then applying a toner to kill any residual yellow. If your hair is fair are the white oes really all that noticable? You could have paler streaks put through that would lift the overall colour and be less high maintenance?
