Longchamp le pliage - really worth the money?

I often see the le pliage recommended on here so have been looking at them online. Are they really worth the money for what they are? I do like the look of them and the small tote with shoulder straps is the right size/shape for what I need, but £50+ for a nylon bag seems crazy to me. Also, if I do go for one, would a light colour be a really bad idea? Do they get marked/dirty easily? Can they be washed in any way? Thanks.

I have the largest Pliage in black and I've had it for six years. I've used it to death and it is still in great condition. So comfy on the shoulders and I can sling everything in, it's never full up. Worth the £.

I've had mine (the big one) for about 9 years & have used loads. Still looking reasonable.

ALso have the rucksack - which I adore. It's like the Tardis. Can get, kindle, phone, hairbrush, vaping kit & even a thin jumper in it.

I love mine! I have the navy long handled one, it looks brand new after 2 years of heavy use. Perfect for beach, flights, fits a4 papers in. Love it!

My eldest DD got one to go travelling and judging by her facebook she uses it loads too!

Love mine. Dh bought me when they were quite new and at first I was like what is this? I have the large shopper in navy. I now use it almost every day - I have retired my humoungous nappy bag. It is now my handbag/nappy bag with just enough space for a small nappy change kit, wipes and snacks for my wee one plus all my parephenalia.
Pre baby I used it as my weekender/ holiday bag. It is the absolute perfect bag for a city break and also doubles as a beach bag. It does come to work with me to ( without he nappy kit).
Looks great three years on - the odd tiny pin hole. I suspect I gave another years worth of use out of it. I am tempted to replace it with exactly the same colour/size.
I think the navy combined with the leather handles looks really classy.

I have this one to use as hand luggage. It is brilliant it holds so much and has the shoulder strap that the travel version lacks.

I looked at them for ages and then got the large shopper in navy, used last week for long haul flight, so light, wish I had bought one sooner.
