Hello ladies, I was wondering if you could share your thoughts... I have oily skin and used Decleor for years. Last October I went to a local salon and was 'recruited' into the world of Environ. I had been really curious about Environ for ages and was really excited to to start it. However, seriously I really can not see any improvement at all, I have generally good skin, oil aside but I really was expecting to be practically glowing by now! So, I feel like I've given it a good crack of the whip and am debating wether to go back to my trusty Decleor or to try something else, any thoughts? (I'd be interested to hear from any Eve Lom fans) oh another thing is that Environ prides itself on never exfoliating the face, supposedly in looking after the top layers of skin, skin is healthier overall. Although I have to admit it, I feel desperate for a good old scrub and one of those peel SC mask thingys. Anyway I'm just putting this out there. DD & DS 4&2 are full of flu/cough so who knows what the night will bring but ill try and check in later, off to do stories x

I'd be careful with lavender as it can also be an irritant to the skin.

My current routine-
Cleansers
Morning I use Oskia Rejuvenating cleanser. I love it, smells amazing, great at cleansing and brightening the skin

Evening I use Ultrabland by Lush. Very basic but lovely cleanser, takes off every bit of make up, mascara and anything else. I double cleanse at night as I wear a lot of makeup.

Another on I alternate with is Body Shop chamomile cleanser which is supposedly a dupe for Take the Day off Balm. This is a balm that works into an oily texture once on the skin. Great for taking off heavy eye makeup and is quite light and has good slip for doing a wee massage.

TonersI use first aid beauty exfoliating pads as a very mild exfoliating tone. At night time i step it up a notch and use Bravura Calendula toner (which is stronger) and a few times a week I use Alpha H.

I just keep an eye on my skin to decide which level of exfoliating toner I use. If it feels a bit too oily (as if it's been overstimulated) then I use the mildest one or I leave it out for an evening.

I then use Lush Rose Water spray after it. Two scoots of that and let it settle.

Serums- I use Clinique serum for pigmentation, I can't remember the name of it at present.
AND
Hydraluron(serum not the moisture jelly) by indeed Labs (you get it in boots and it's on offer just now I think)This is a godsend. I love it. It makes my skin really hydrated.

Moisturisers
I alternate between Hydraluron Jelly which is okay but I won't be repurchasing as I don't think it's worth the money. Bought on offer but it's a basic moisturiser. It's very light in texture and absorbs easily so I like that.

Elemis Pro Collagen night cream- again I like it but bought it on offer and i'm not sure if it's worth the money

Organic Surge Daily Moisturiser. I really like this one, it's cheap, does the job and it's gentle.

Vichy Normaderm Night (?)- I really like this too. My skin feels moisturised yet not greasy in the morning.

Facial Oil About once a week I use Sanctuary Spa secret therapist facial oil after my routine and go to sleep in it.

This seems like a tremendous of products but I just started with cleanser, toner, hydraluron and moisturiser.

Thanks Clara I had a google of the Avalon & the lavender flagged up for me too, so I have gone with the Dr Organics Rose toner and the Dr Organics Rose Serum. It's on offer in holland & Barrett now :-) once I've finished the Environ pre-cleanse oil ill have a go of the una bremner vit c.

So the Ren products arrived today, so I used the clarimatte clay cleanser which smelt lovely and only need a dash, skin felt clean although I didn't have any make-up on. Next I used the exfoliating toner followed by the tone balancing gel, which felt heavy at first but absorbed so quickly. My make-up felt great going on and still looks great, no shine, and eyeliner hasn't bled, also I use the benefit tint on cheeks and I often find I need to re-apply but not today... So far so good.

Tonight ill pre-cleanse, then use the same cleanser & toner followed by the dr Organics products ending up with the Ren night cream.

Gosh it sounds like loads! It's a good job I've now written down the order in which I'm using them! Grin

So hopefully ill be glowing soon Wink

Clara just out of interest do you use the chamomile oil or the butter/balm in the pot? X

I'm converted to natural products 100%, use the oil cleansing method for cleansing my face at night, and just water in the morning; for moisturizing I alternate between rosehip, moringa, tamanu and jojoba oil for day and night. It's amazing what they do to your skin. Also argan oil for hair is incredible. Make sure to get the best quality oils though, organic if you can, as that will make a huge difference.

Seline I just have blackheads on my nose so I went for the pink clay sponge (tired skin)

Selinemaratima · 12/02/2015 18:08

Thanks BeCool it's definitely worth a try! Whilst I've been doing all of my facial research Blush as I have to admit I was pretty clueless, I started thinking about the rest of my body care with summer on the horizon. Before I had the DC's I just remember looking great, used a bit of coco butter and skipped out the door but it seems while I've been breastfeeding & sleep deprived all manner of things have now changed with me barely noticing! my legs are soooo dry I literally use the kids aqueous cream, my hands are dry, grey hairs coming thick and fast etc anyway I can't expect you lot to send miracles through the web Hmm but I wondered if any of you have tried/heard of a baiden mitten? It's apparently a super duper exfoliating mitt which eradicates all imperfections leaving beautiful skin underneath, I use crabtree & evelyn body cleanser in the shower & I do occasionally use an exfoliating scrub and each day use aveno, but still the dryness continues, it's really bizarre as you know I have an oily complexion ? Anyway your wisdom is much appreciated X

Hello. Ava, I've often wondered about Argan Oil for my hair, I actually put a mask in my younger cousins Christmas stocking, anyway I'm a bit confused as there's so many products emblazoned with Argan Oil I'm not sure a) what it is & what it can do for different hair types and b) which is the real deal, ie like skincare I'm sure there's varying qualities etc. I've just bought the Dr Organic Rosé toner & serum and used it for the first time last night and felt it very greasy at first but when I woke up this morning my skin felt really lovely, so I'm quite happy so far x

Hi sorry For the late reply, I use the butter. I have the oil too(another gift set purchase but I prefer the texture of the butter. The oil is amazing at shifting eye make up or heavy foundation. It's for when u need to bring out the big guns. Ha!

Selinemaratima · 13/02/2015 17:31

Thanks Clara! After all of my findings I'm buying my BF some 'essentials' for her birthday :-) x

I've now moved onto Alpha H entire range of products - and have NEVER seen my skin look SO GOOD in years - honestly, Years!!

Look it up on QVC.....watch the demo videos....read the reviews....TRY IT - and be amazed at the results. This brand is into exfoliate, exfoliate, exfoliate, but it does not strip your skin. My skin is super sensitive with a troublesome T zone - but not troublesome any longer with Alpha H.

I've got drawers full of ELEMIS, Gatineau, Decleor, etc., but none of them SHOW RESULTS as Alpha H does. My skin is soft, smooth, glowing and looks 10 years younger. Friends have commented on how great my skin looks - and at a recent trip to Debenhams, looking at some lipstick colours, the Clarins Counter Lady said "your skin looks really good, you look after it really well, don't you?"

Give it a go Ladies.......
