Where do you get clothes for age 12-14 (boy and girl)

Seems like lots of the clothing ranges in shops go up to an age 12. Both my kids are wearing age 12 now and I don't have any idea where to get bigger clothes. Lots of shops seem to go up to age 12 and then straight to adult. Ds in particularly is too skinny for men's clothes. The sort of clothes they've had are mainly basics but good quality: tracksuits, tshirts, fleeces, jeans etc. Help please!

I have had this problem. Look in H&M. I also found Primark xs mens works OK for a lot of things. Plus the girls can wear the size 6 or size 8 in Primark as well.

River island do a teen sizing guide of that helps.

For girls New Look has a 9-15 range which is popular and my DS wears H&M or superdry or Hollister for brands

AnyFucker · 02/02/2015 22:13

H+M

Landsend, zara and espirit go up to 14. I think GAP might too.

Lands end is good for basics

Hollister and superdry are the only places I can find the right sizes for my skinny boys. In next the arms and legs on age 16 are too short for my 13 year old.

I loaded up on hollister stuff in the states. It was cheaper than Next is here.

Top shop small mens stuff fits my 12 yr old ds, also Ark, h&m and sports direct.

DD(14) seems to have no bother finding bits everywhere... from primark, new look, bank, ark etc.

Zara

DS2 is nearly 14 and quite skinny, but he's now able to wear men's xs in some shops - River Island, USC (might be xxs small there), not Superdry yet but the girls' hoodies are often the same as the men's (just check for glitter!).
Also Vans do xl boys, and the surfdome website has a huge range, often several of the brands he likes all in one place.

For ds we use tesco / Asda - riverisland gap.debenhams he still needs the adjustable waists on jeans as he has quite small for his age.

Dd - size 6-8 in primark
Matalan teen section mainly online
New look
Jack wills
H&M
The vast majority is primark she loves the ladies jeggins at £7 a pair and the slogan tshirts have been a hit as well

beachyhead · 03/02/2015 08:41

Next online do good boys trousers up to 16, with adjustable waists still... Useful for that lanky stage Smile

I buy women's clothes for DD. Teen ranges just don't fit, the proportions are wrong. Women's petite are a better fit on her.
