Make-over promotion - anybody done this?

A certain hair salon had a promotion (buy a 'membership' and get a regular free treatment etc. - although amazing how they then try to push more treatments on you!!! but that's for another thread...), and a free gift of a make-over afternoon was thrown in. I'm doing it next week (will be dragging a friend along), and I'm slightly nervous (supposed to take 4 outfits & accessories, get make-up and hair done, prance around like some model). My worries are that I hate posing for photo's (a bit shy and self-conscious), and atm I look like somebody whose DDs take turns not to sleep through the night, (although they've been asleep since 8, and here I am still...), so how to do this posing thing?!
And I reckon it's like the Venture thing where they take (or manipulate into -) wonderful photo's and charge hundreds of pounds? One gets a free digital image at the end of the shoot.
Basically, I do not need photo's of myself, I have a mirror! Any advice? Cancel?? Wine?

if you aren't into it...cancel!! if you get the chance to be without the kids for an afternoon...do something you want to do!

Careful makeup lighting can get rid of the non-sleeping look without too much manipulation needed. Personally I'd turn up and take the digital file just to give yourself the ego boost :-), especially if you can bring a friend for a giggle, but if you really hate the idea of the hard sell then cancel.
