Advice on tinternet says I should avoid wearing poinnty shoes and heels.

Will it get better or am I destined to a life in crocs because they are comfy?

Help me please.....

You need some nice comfy old lady shoes which allow your toes to point in the direction which the good lord intended.
Ouch though, bunions can be very painful!

piss off cod. I am being serious. Please don't tell me to change foot wardrobe. I can't do comfy shoes I just can't.

Bunion not hurting but looks bloody ugly.

seriously, if you live in pointy shoes your bunion will stay forever.
Can you compromise and only wear pointy shoes when you have to? Or start a new fashion of roundy toe comfy shoes?

northerner · 19/10/2006 21:51

Yes I live in pointy shoees with heels

I wear trainers only for running and sometimes timberlands for casual wear. That's is it. POinty and heels everywhere else.

The op is huge and can cause it's own problems. My mum had both feet done, then again 10 years later and now on one foot the ball collapsed and she had to have more surgery.
If it's not painful now it will be if you keep wearing the heels. Sorry!!
