Best shampoo/conditioner for greasy hair?

[Specificity]

Each time I try a new shampoo it works for the first few washes then my hair returns to going greasy within 12 / 24 hrs or washing.

Anyone found anything that keeps greasy hair at bay? TIA.

Urtekram Rose shampoo (matching conditioner isn't great though) with Klorane linseed conditioning balm or Faith in Nature Chocolate shampoo and conditioner

Well, the search for a shampoo for greasy hair took me into some nooks and crannies...urtekram and faith in nature I get in my local health food shop (but should be easy to get online too), klorane from John Lewis (and some good independent chemists sometimes have it)

I tried clarifying shampoo but made it worse

What works best is a bicarbonate soda paste and Apple cider rinse.

Cheap and makes my hair look great.

I think mine is build up and it looked horrendous.

Then I just go back to normal shampoo and it works fine and then I do the bicarb and rinse every 2 ish weeks

Soda and apple cider vinegar is great, I used to use that all the time, still do on and off. I'm on a lookout for a good shampoo too, currently trialing Fushi Repair shampoo, so far so good, almost finished the bottle and still liking it

I have this problem. It drives me insane. I have never noticed much I a difference with whatever shampoo I have used though so interested to see what others think.
