I normally think people can do what they want with their money etc but anyone who spends £60,000 on a hideous clutch bag needs to have a word with themselves.

"Cheap at half the price" is the original and correct version of the saying. In Middle English, cheap, or "cheep" also meant goods or property, so the street cry, "Cheap at half the price!", was the Middle Ages' equivalent of today's shop window sign, "All stock 50% off".

Actually, i dont dislike either. I mean i wouldnt pay that price but its quirky and meant to be fun??? I would say, lighten up!
