Can anyone help with my skincare regime?

I thought I had it sorted.

I use kiehl's cleanser when I wash my face once a day.

Kiehl's midnight concentrate before I go to bed and Clarins moisturiser during the day.

I have sensitive skin and this combination was great. After lots of trial and error, I haven't had a spot in about 2 months and my skin looked nice and healthy.

last few days it's been so incredibly dry. Like peeling off dry. Is it just the weather or is it like shampoo where you should change every so often?

Now I can't put any makeup on because it just emphasises the dry bits. Sad

It could be the weather. Are you run down, dehydrated? I think I read that it does take about 3+ months for a skincare regime to kick in. The Kiehls concentrate is nice but I dont find it mega moisturising and my skin is combination. Why not pop to Kiehls and Clarins and get some samples of a richer night or day treatment. Dont rush out and buy lots of expensive new products. You may simply need a richer night or day moisturiser.

Thanks rosie. I like kiehl's because this is the first time that I don't have any spots or itchiness. Maybe dehydration. I'll up my water intake. I'll definitely get some testers, good idea!

Good luck. I always find the Kiehls staff really helpful and happy to give out samples and advice. You may want to look into supplements - I started taking flaxseed after reading that a well known facialist took them. May be worth a try and usually on offer at Holland and Barratt.

Thank you, I will try. My skin is appalling today. Flaking off in some bits and greasy in others. My hair also seems really greasy. Don't know what's up!

Keep what you're using, add a moisturising serum under both.

I use La Roche Posay Rosaliac AR and it's perfect, I'm on my third or fourth bottle now.

Greasy hair might mean period is imminent.
