I got the Clinique Natural Gloss mascara recently. Really nice - not clumpy at all. Very natural looking.

Also, the bog standard Clarins mascara is nice - good shaped brush (but dunno cost.)

TheDaVinciCod · 18/10/2006 13:49

i had a try of the chaenl one
very good

TutterIckOrTreat · 18/10/2006 13:50

am just finishing up a chanel extracils one but have decided i still prefer the clinique one in a shiny tube (can't remember the name)

fishie · 18/10/2006 14:07

oh yes clarins sounds good hadnt thought of that. don't chanel do several, is there one in particular? anyway i will look in big boots later... thank you.

Max factor masterpiece mascara - I have tried all brands and this is my favorite by far - and under a tenner !

lorina · 18/10/2006 17:13

I found chanel extracils too flaky.
I havent really had a mascara I would rave about. I am thinking about eyelash extensions instead

LaDIEDaDIE · 18/10/2006 23:27

Have just got Bourjois "Say yes to volume, no to clumps", I kid you not, that's what it's called, and it's very good so far. Approx £7.

BadHair · 18/10/2006 23:31

Boots No.7 is about a tenner and ticks all the boxes you're looking for.

corrina28 · 19/10/2006 14:48

sweetmonkey · 19/10/2006 14:52

i got the new lancome one a little while ago which is fab

WitchICouldGiveUpWork · 19/10/2006 14:55

I bought the one which has a comb-not the usual spiral brush the other day, cheap as it is Maybelline or Max Factor (lash stylist????) and have been Mega-impressed and won't go back to Lancome now.

Lucy1977 · 19/10/2006 20:10

I usually use Lancome Defincils but recently needed to buy a mascara when I forgot my makeup bag so I picked up the Maybeline black one (it's a fat tube with silver writing) and it's brilliant! I wont be buying another Lancome one after using this! It's plumped up my lashes and I don't need my eye curlers any more either.

Highly recommend

Lucy

lancome

Honeymum · 21/10/2006 13:40

Aveda - the mossy one. The best mascara I have ever had for not coming off on my face!! I think it was dear, though, something like £14
