Products to "lift" my short choppy hairstyle

Hi I've just had a new hairstyle done and wondered if anyone has any ideas on product to use to lift it up and accentuate the choppy messy look?

When my hair is a choppy style I always get a wax product, rub it in hands then sort of grab the ends of my hair.
