RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 11/01/2015 16:47

These look as if they might be worth a look too

They do look nice in the grey! I've tried those ones Belinda and they were fab, though I prefer the Sloan fit ones I have I think. I'm just holding out in the hope that Jigsaw might reduce their Paris trousers which I love.
Rather randomly I picked up some check cheapies from tesco yesterday!

Merriboo · 11/01/2015 17:52

these were the unexpected bargain.

ZammoMcGuire · 11/01/2015 18:08

I'm bored of black ones, Have two good pairs (but one is too tight at the moment - oops). I do fancy grey ones though.

ZammoMcGuire · 11/01/2015 18:36

me too - i feel like the deputy manager of a TSB,
ALL THE TIME

Merriboo · 11/01/2015 18:40

Zammo lol! The tesco ones are long enough on me to sit just right on/slightly above my waist if that makes sense?

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 11/01/2015 18:54

I hardly wear them now. Struggle to find tops the right length too. Can get a bit Max Wall.

Bearleigh · 11/01/2015 19:00

Does this mean we've reached PeakBlack?

I look around public transport on the way to work and see nothing but dull colours, usually black (including my own coat I admit). It's like a film set in a dystopian future.

I bought some cotton elastane BR trousers a couple of years ago, and they just kept getting bigger. They fitted beautifully when I first wore them, then gradually got baggier on the bottom, and didn't tighten when cleaned. As they matched a jacket I didn't want to wash them. BR were fine about it when I took them both back in about May having bought them in January (but clearly hadn't worn them much). It was a shame as they had looked great at first.

looki · 11/01/2015 20:08

I like the colour of the Warehouse ones but not the trousers themselves. (I don't like the crop or the slightly baggy ends or the zips). I'd also say if they have been reduced twice, they must not be great on?.

Anyone see any other in the same colour please? I really like the colour!!!

BelindaAllWorkedOut · 11/01/2015 20:18

Similar looking to the Tesco ones, are these Zara ones that are cotton and fit me well www.zara.com/uk/en/sale/woman/trousers/printed-leggings-with-side-zip-c436519p2256523.html

NEWS UPDATE

the grey ones are OSSOM - nicely long - prob 33 inches and nice neat waistband and good quality fabric. I am a post Xmas 12 and got a 12

The light wool ones are nice. A classic suit trouser lovely fabric, but not slim. I am thinking about them as I am not sure I shouldnt look at a smaller size and/or wait for a discount code. I think they would be good on someone slightly wider of thigh too. :)

OP posts:
BelindaAllWorkedOut · 16/01/2015 21:43

Zammo - would it be worth having the wool ones altered, to be narrower? You could always return and buy when next reduced, and have them altered. Great news on the grey ones!

BelindaAllWorkedOut · 16/01/2015 21:45

I just bought these, and the camel version, from Zara in size 8 (aka they are a big cut) for £10.

I bought some slim leg black M&S trousers ( slightly stretchy, hold their shape. No zips )
To go with my snazzy NHS white with black trim tunic and sensible flat black lace ups.
No style required but smart and comfy Smile
