Those of you who wear lovely matching underwear...

...do you wear it every day?

I've decided to have a lingerie overhaul as I have loads of lovely stuff that I never wear. Every day I just go for the usual hi-legs and t-shirt bra. So my question is, more specifically, what about those days during the month when you just need to wear more practical pants? Do you have an stash of 'emergency/boring' pants or do you still wear the lovely stuff even during your period?

I clearly have so much to learn!!!!

I wear matching everyday. I have different knickers I wear when I work out they Brazilian type ones as look ok under workout bottoms.
I usually wear black undies when I have my period. They are still nice knickers though & I always wear a black bra to match.
I always worry if I was in an accident that I didn't have matching underwear.

I've just done my overhaul before Christmas. I bought three white bras, one black one and two colours and two pairs of knickers to go with each. I'm wearing them all the time.

I don't tend to buy matching sets of knickers as they tend to be man made fabrics and chosen for look rather than sense. I buy M&S knickers that coordinate (easy if white or black) and in cotton. I do have some complete matching sets but they don't look any more matching than the sets I've chosen to put together if that makes sense?

I wear matching every day. During my period I ditch the fancy and expensive stuff but it's still matching. I think it's just ingrained in me.

Whenever I buy a new bra I always buy two pairs of matching knickers which helps because I don't wash bras after every wear. When I have my period I wear plain knickers but in colours which vaguely match the bra I'm wearing. I also had to overhaul my underwear drawer a few years back and bought a nice new set each month on payday so now I can always be coordinated.

I much prefere a plain (tshirt type) bra with french shorts type of knickers, for every day use. I have them in black, navy and nude ( white shows through, gets gray etc).

I bought a m&s pack of black briefs/shorts with a bit of detail, one size bigger for my period/fat days. But you wouldn't know, it's only the small lace detail that differenciate them.

January and August are overhaul the underwear months. Whatever is not perfect gets binned.

I quite like mismatched lovely underwear. It pleases the (well hidden) rebel in me.

Yes, wear matched everyday. Like KittyKat7 usually go for a black set during that time of the month.

I hang my underwear up in the wardrobe on clippy hangers in matching sets as they are so pretty!

Matched every day. I do tend to wear black ones on heavier period days though.

Like Teaguzzler I buy 2 pairs of knickers for every bra.

I used to. But then breastfed and now I have no boobs, literally. It's bloody depressing. None of my bras fit.

No not matched, larger norks and prefer to wear nude. Got a few matching sets and try to wear.

This year I do want to try and match more colours at least.

I don't wearing matching matching but I do match colours.

e.g. today red bra, red and white knickers.

The key is to on0yl stick to a few colours, and make sure you have LOTS of knickers.

If you have actual "sets" that go together, buy at least 3 pairs of knickers for each bra.

I always, always wear matching lingerie and I wear it every day. I don't buy very expensive/fragile lingerie anymore - I want it to wash easily and survive the process - and my main supplier is Princesse Tam Tam. I buy 4/5 bras and two pairs of matching knickers every season.

Those bras look very nice (and there's a sale on).

Matching every day, although I do have some more "comfy" cotton jersey sets for the weekend.

And I have some plain black cotton knickers for sport/running.

I overhauled mine last year and even on a crap day last year my nice underwear made me smile.
