My bumps were always covered because of horrendous stretchmarks.

Also does it make any difference on the age of the MUM?

ie OK for a 20 year old BUT not for a 40 year old ???????

Yes. Worst sight of the summer was a massive pregancy bump with a bikini top and pregancy jeans - not a good look at all.

It was in Cod's neck of the woods too.

I like to see a bump, but I like to see it covered iykwim. So you don't have to wear a tent, tight fitting clothing is ok but I really don't like the low cut jean and crop top look out in public.

i was very outspoken about pregnancy bumps being covered and used to rave about how horrible it looked............ until i was pregnant in a heatwave and i could have given a flying fuck what anyone hought of my bump because i was bloody HOT! spent many days on the beach in a tankini and only had one light top that cover the bump so the rest of the time he was hanging out scaring small children and i couldn't have cared less!

that said, that was summer, and a hot one at that. i think it looks ridiculous in winter when theey're obviously freezing the poor bump for no good reason.
