I need slip-on shoes for work it seems.

Started a new job which involves visiting people's homes. I take my shoes off every time.
Quickly realised converse are not suitable. :)

I really don't want to go down the clog route. Certainly not crocs anyway. Can't/won't do ballet slippers.

Any suggestions?

Loafers seem to be quite trendy at the moment, would they work? Also some sort of slouchy boots that pull off rather than zip?

Loafers?

UterusUterusGhali · 06/01/2015 08:49

Loafers scream Gin & Jag to me. They're trendy now?
God I'm out of touch.

Off to google.

These seem tolerable.

Anything I wear is going to look shit with my NHS polo and fleece, isn't it? Blee.

How young are you?
Could you wear Ugg style boots?

dementedpixie · 06/01/2015 09:43

elastic laces?

UterusUterusGhali · 06/01/2015 09:44

I'm a chubby 34.

I only think uggs look ok with tight trousers and my work trousers are straight leg.
Might work though! Would be jolly cosy.

Roll on summer when I can wear my beloved birkies again!

Ooh! Yeah!

That might work!

Ok having to visit a travellers site made me realise I need a sturdy mud-coloured boot, so I'm going with that! A Chelsea boot I think.

Thank you! Grin
