Which product to use on leather bag to make it look like new?

I have a beautiful black leather R&B bag that's been dusted off for use for a few months. What's best to make it look shiny and new again? My husbands suggested shoe polish - I have a feeling that won't work!!!

Get a pot of leather cream. I use Lord Sheraton leather balsam, works a treat.

Shoe polish might come off on your clothes I agree a leather balsam always works.
