Heat protection spray and smoothing products

Hi Hair Gurus

I'm looking for recommendations for two hair products (bear with me if this is very simple, I'm hopeless at hair stuff!)

I understand I should be using a heat protection product as I use BBH or GHD twice a week. Any thoughts?

When I wear my hair up in a ponytail or bun I get loads of whispy / fuzzy bits round my face and ears. What can I use to smooth them back? I don't want a super tight "gelled" look but also don't want frizz halo. Is this a job for hairspray?

I use a L'Oreal heat protecting spray which is very good. I think it costs about £6 and lasts for ages.
I also use Ellnet hairspray which is brilliant.

Hope you find something that suits you. You don't need to spend a fortune, there's some fab products out there

Schwarzkopf essence ultime crystal shine heat protection spray is really good. Cheap too.
