Please help me accessorize a black shift dress for an evening wedding reception.

I have a just below the knee, slash necked sleeveless black shift dress that i'd like to wear but need ideas with shoes, bag and jewellery etc.

I usually wear classic style clothes but don't mind shaking it up a bit with the accessories. Oh and I'm 43 if that makes a difference

I would go for a statement necklace to introduce colour to the black and bag and shoes that pick out one of the colours on the necklace or generally tone with each other.
