I usually have to be restrained from running amok when new styles appear in the shops but this year I just can't get excited.
The problem might be that I feel as though I've worn all the styles before when I was younger, thinner and more daring!!
Oh well, back to the jeans I go, oh no, they are low rise bootcut, not high waist boyfriend...what shall I do?

OMG, ouldn't agree more, did all that jeans/slouchy boots/batwing sleeves stuff in the 80's when I'd just started getting an allowance and thought I was the bees knees going down town on the bus to Tammy Girl and Miss Selfridge. Can't really see myself doing it again with added flab. And half the hairstyles I see in the street make me think Toyah, frankly. Makes me feel ancient. Will I ever be fashionable again...?Slinking off to put on my bootleg jeans too...

But what do you wear? I've loved all the skirts, shrugs and stuff in recent years(Sort of Monsoon style), I might pop in there, though I'm too tight to buy anything til the Sales, and pencil skirts will definately too tight on me!
I guess really it doesn't matter what I wear, as I'm at home most of the time, but you know what they say about other women's opinions etc.
At least we aren't on our own, the sales of winter clothes are very slow to get going this year, if grey is the new black no-one seems very impressed.
(PS my daughter is threatening to take pics of me in my 8O's gear to show all the parents/carers at playgroup we both attend )
