Lindy bop dresses-true to size?

Hi, just looking for some advice....considering a Lindt bop dress to wear over the spring/summer and wondered if anyone could advise re sizing? I'm a 16-18 and wondered how Lindy bop sizes compare?

I think they're a bit small for the size

I've not had one myself, but I was looking at them as a gift for my sister, and all the reviews said sizing was inconsistent. As it was a gift I held off, but if it's for yourself I'd check out individual reviews for whatever dress you fancy.

I would say small. I used the measurement guides. I'm a 14-16 with a large waist and got an 18. It fits perfectly!

Depends on the style too...I bought 3 recently, 1 was a bit big and the other two too small, but their returns were good, so I'd order several sizes and plan to return what does not fit
