Black Tie / Cocktail Dress

have a wedding reception tonight and the dress code is specified as above. Can I get away with trousers and sparly top and killer heels.

Did have dress but wrong time of month and it is pale and not feeling very confident wearing it (TMI???)

hi there- i think you will be fine- i NEVER wear dresses as have calves like a footballer and always look fab in black trousers , nice top, killer heels combo! Go for it!

I went to such a do recently and although most women were in dresses, one female friend wore a fab pair of black trousers and heels, a great shirt and loads of lovely sparkle and she looked fabulous. Your outfit sounds great. Have a lovely evening
