Marks and spencer sculpt and lift skinny jeans £35 I like mine so much I bought in three colours

Chooseyourplayer · 01/01/2015 09:05

Don't know want to hijack the thread but just wondering where you shop? I mostly shop at Next for convenience but find the quality of their stuff poor generally. I need to find somewhere else but don't know where to start. I am early 40's. Also watching with interest

EricIsMine · 01/01/2015 09:19

I buy my skinnies from Primark (size 16 or 18 depending on the style) .... no bagginess, nice stretch, loads of colours and styles ... and £15 quid max Grin

I have a pair still going strong after 2 and a half years of wearing and washing! You just have to try a couple of styles to find the best fit for your own shape

Marylou2 · 01/01/2015 09:19

Uniqlo skinny jeans.Stretchy and maintain their shape and colour. How tall are you? They have a 33inch inseam.

EricIsMine · 01/01/2015 09:22

If you want leggings then again primark "velvet plush lined" leggings are fab ... £6, super thick, don't go baggy and the XL is a great fit for a 16/18

Fanfeckintastic · 01/01/2015 09:25

Another vote for Primark, the velvet plush lined ones are amazing and the control leggings are great for sculpting, hiding any lumps and bumps and holding in tum!

hoedown · 01/01/2015 09:45

m&s high-waisted skinnies in black or indigo. £29.50.

mrssmith79 · 01/01/2015 09:59

Sainsburys for leggings - not the cheap ones, the ones with Modal. Thick, well fitting, lovely wide comfy waistband. Marvellous. Think they're about a tenner.

Ohanarama · 01/01/2015 10:04

Not sure about leggings but m&s and Dorothy perkins jeggings are always fab.

18yearstooold · 01/01/2015 10:15

Have a look at simply be for skinnies

They are excellent for the large of thigh (if that's your body shape)

Rhymerocket · 01/01/2015 10:34

Thanks guys. I usually shop and m and s and have some per Una slim leg which are the best jeans I ever owned! But bought the skinny jeans from next on a recommendation for £45 total shite! I had a baggy arse after 3 hours

I find Dorothy Perkins jeggings great and their jeans too!

Maverick66 · 01/01/2015 16:45

Hi OP Dorothy Perkins Eden jeggings are fab as too are Sainsburys leggings mentioned up thread. However my local Sainsburys have not stocked them this winter ;-(

goodasitgets · 01/01/2015 16:55

Dorothy Perkins eden jeggings
For leggings I swear by maidenform

Oldraver · 01/01/2015 16:55

The Sainsburys ones sold singularily... I had to go dwon a size for them not to be baggy on the knees

oneflewoutofthecrazynest · 01/01/2015 17:04

Another vote for M&S sculpt and lift Smile

Dawndonnaagain · 01/01/2015 17:27

I have Boden ones that are three years old. They still look new.

hiccupgirl · 01/01/2015 17:51

The jeggings in both M&S and Sainsburys are a good fit in larger sizes and last well. I've had any problem with them going baggy.

I'd agree Next jeans and leggings just aren't good quality - the ones I've had from there have always stretched a lot.

spottymoo · 01/01/2015 18:58

I find asda skinnys the best.

mrssnodge · 02/01/2015 15:12

Asda Wonderfit at 18 are good, never go baggy but you need a belt! they look tiny but a medium or large should fit as they stretch to fit but are comfy and not baggy
