I want to get my 3 year old girl a short haircut, but she is affraid her feisnds will laugh and call her a boy (like they did me when i was 5)

so can anybody link any really cute short girls haircuts that dont require blow drying.

Does she want it short? How about a short Suri Cruise Bob style? I always had short hair as a child and loved it but, I know lots of little girls love their long hair so, be careful.

DD 4 has a chin length bob. She loved long hair but wasn't keen on brushing and washing it and neither was I and now its still long enough for clips and a hairband but short enough we dont have the hassle at hair washing time!

My 3 year old has a chin length bob with fringe. I wouldnt have it any longer until she's old enough to wash and detangle herself!

mine had a pixie cut at that age :). Her friends didn't laugh :) Plus she got scouted by a model agency several times because her "look" was different.

We did have a few ignorant strangers challenger her gender in public places, but she accepted such people weren't very clever if they didn't know girls could have short hair and boys could have long hair if they wanted.

We have agreeed on a halfway between chin and shoulder length bob, and growing her fringe out.

Neither of us want the tears that come with every hairbrush, as she can't keep her hair dry in the shower

You could always buy a ridiculously froufrou shower cap if you want dry hair in the shower. My daughter is now eight but still loves to wear it.
