teal ponte dress

I'm mid thirties, normally size 10 but 2 weeks post baby and still with a stone to lose, wobbly belly but thought this dress might be ok as it doesn't sit flat against belly?

Needed for dinner in early January.

It's a nice dress but the way it's styled looks more like a work dress - personally I think it would need to be jazzed up for a dinner.

Not the most exciting dress but perfectly fine (and two weeks post partum I was doing well to be out of my dressing gown )

Thanks; no it definitely is not the most exciting but I'm not very exciting at the minute! I just want to blend, if that makes sense?

This may not be a relevant factor, but are you breastfeeding? It's not going to be easy to do that in that dress.

I like it. Its a good simple dress that can be styled up and down. Nice with boots and a simple pendant. I think it could look very good on. Also the colour is lovely and it looks like comfy material :)

Thanks for the opinions! At least no one is saying it's hideous, will probably wear with gold necklace and ankle boots.

Don't need boob access!

It's okay and I looked at it for myself ( am in my 50s, size 8-10) but thought it wasn't special enough for dinners etc but ok for work, everyday.
I think you could better and more youthful.

I really like it. I would wear it as a day dress but you could dress it up. It's a v flattering cut and I like the colour. Actually I might buy one too.

Add a statement necklace in opaque white and teal colours will look lovely

Or shades of teal and gold like this
