Stuck in a hair style rut..........

Ok, am thinking of radical ahir syle change. This is a big thing for me cause I've had the same hairstyle since I was 8, and I'm now 30, so something has to change. But it's scary, and what if I don't like it?

My current hair is long (to boobs), all one lenght, full fringe, natural colour is brownyish, but an awful flat brown with no depth. Currently have had blonde high lights for years so the lenght is quite light. Oh and it's very thick.

Thinking I may go brunette, but should I go all one colour or still have high lights?

Any suggesstions apprciated. Thanks.

Are you changing the style as well as the colour? If you are doing both, maybe change the colour first, then the style so it's not too much of a shock. If you don't like it, remember it'll grow back... With colour, you might be better to get lowlights, rather than all-over colour as that can still sometimes look bit flat and 'unnatural' iykwim. What about a few inches off the length and some face-framing layers to start with? Fringes are apparently 'in', so you could keep that. You're lucky to have thick hair

I can so relate, also wanting to have a hair change and trying at the mo to decide what to do....
I think my problem is I can never decide what I like best so am always chnaging it, have pretty much done it all now!

I think it sound sliek you need a chop alright and as far as colour goes, probably best to pick out something you really like in a mag.....brunette would be cool for winter, a rich chocolate is very cool at the mo, what I might be doing this wkd.
Good luck!!!!!

If you have the courage, you could go to the hairdresser and ask for their opinion. IME they tend to be quite conservqative with such requests, you won't get anything too mad. I'm having a haircut tomorrow morning, still undecided how, probably short or v short. Good luck. Is your hair straight? You could try a bob.
